By hearing this Goddess Lakshmi and His Adhisheshan asked what they will do without Him. The Almighty told them to go to Palasavanam and do penance there. Once the world is brought back He will come and adjoin with them there. As said He destroyed the Demon and brought back the world to its position. He went to Palasavanam as promised and gave darshan to Goddess an Adhisheshan. He took rest here after the hectic war with the demon. As He just came from the war, His eyes were Red and hence the name Senganmal. Red Eyed Perumal. Sen Kan Mal – Sen means Red, Kan means Eye Mal refers to Perumal.
